Her Background in Academic Research: Karen A. Hines earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of Missouri and an M.A. and Ph.D. in social psychology from The Ohio State University. Social psychology uses the scientific method to better understand how individuals think, feel, and act in social situations. While in graduate school, Karen focused on factors that influence subjective experiences such as visual imagery perspective processes as well as the subconscious sharing of events with others. She also received intensive training in research design and advanced quantitative data analysis.
Her Background in Applied Research: Karen has four years of applied research experience on a wide range of projects.
